Stimulate the Economy: Nike Sportswear Ohio State Blazer Hi
Paying tribute to one of college football’s most storied clubs, Nike Sportswear unveils their new Ohio State Buckeye Blazer Hi’s. The kicks feature a clean-cut suede/leather upper adorned with skull versions of the traditional football helmet stickers. Topping the kicks off are red midsoles, white contrasting laces/swoosh, and metallic silver patterns. Look for these at select Nike Sportswear retailers. (Source: Hypebeast)

Drops: IAM1 x INSA

In 7 days INSA ran the city of east London, painting 35 pieces on route of Charlie Dark’s map for The IAM1 Journey Nike Sportswear project. Produced by Protein and documented by INSA’s long time collaborator, photographer Ethel, each of the 35 hand painted pieces form one of the centre pieces of INSAs major London solo show for 2009. This IAM1 Journey animation will be deconstructed within the “Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places” show with behind-the-scenes processes alongside the original painted objects that make up the individual frames.

Stimulate the Economy: NYLON Magazine x Nike Sportswear Women’s Dunk High

Introducing the Nylon Magazine x Nike Sportswear Collection.
It all began after a non-stop flight from New York to Beaverton that brought NYLON Magazine to Nike’s Innovation Summit. After a visit to Nike’s campus, the Innovation Kitchen, and meeting some of our top designers, a friendship was born. It is from this friendship that a dialogue between NYLON and Nike Design would come to result in a project that stands as a true collaboration between two partners determined to express themselves in the best way they know how – through design.

Stimulate the Economy: PF Flyers Color Reveal Center Hi

Set to return to the PF Flyers roster of favorites under an all new design, the Center Hi was originally debuted back in 1953. For fall of 2009, the shoe takes on a different demeanor with a modern patent leather upper. However, the difference in the design comes down to a color changing black patent leather which will crease, contrast and mold to the wearer’s foot. Along the way, the upper will take on various different hues of colors. Two versions are available in black to red and black to white. The suggested retail price is set at $110 USD. Stimulate the Economy: Nike Air Jordan Force 9

The fusion of classic Air Jordan styles and the Air Force 1 continues in April with the first release of the Air Jordan Force 9. Obviously the Air Jordan 9 has been fused in this case with the Air Force 1. The colors were kept basic, sticking to a classic Jordan black/red colorway and three white colorways. As usual opinions about the fusion will go in all directions. We let you be the judges. (Source: High Snobiety)
