Sports Sound Off: Thank You God… NFL Regular Season

The journey has been long, but the faithful are unwavering. We looked for signs & never

lost hope. The table is now set and it’s time to enjoy the bounty of the NFL. So many

questions to be answered in both the AFC & NFC, but one thing is for certain is that our

cup will runneth over with football.

In the beginning… everyone has a chance. Parity is the name of the game. New Orleans

Saints are the defending Champs. (Peyton should have taken that one). Look for the same

teams to do their thang, Vikings, G.B., Colts, S.D. Ravens etc. There’s going to one or

two surprise teams (Texans, can the Bears get it together??, that’s a rough division)PLUS

the injury bug will rear its ugly head.

The NY Jets are the Old Dallas Cowboys, talking talking talking without doing anything.

Even w/ Darrelle Revis back, it’s a QB league & Mark Sanchez ain’t the guy right now

but everybody’s drinking the Kool-Aid in the tri-state area. Can the Steelers survive until

Big Ben returns from his suspension? One game can destroy your whole season. I don’t

want to go on a Rant cause attention spans these days are short, but just remember Al

Davis’ quote of a lifetime, “Just Win Baby”.
