Sports Sound Off: World Cup – NightMare
A dream turned into a nightmare this past Saturday. The USA soccer team let a golden opportunity slip thru their fingers when Ghana defeated them 2-1. The cheers of U-S-A & the sneers of Ghana-orrea were shouted throughout the match. Went to Puma City in NYC for the event. It was located at the South Street Seaport in lower NYC.

People were out in numbers. Beers were $7bucks (ouch). Mixed drinks were $12(bend over). Good thing I had my back pack w/ some KB’s mixed up (holla). USA had there chances. They can only wonder for the next 4 years on why the defense let them down. Great effort was demonstrated by both teams.
Some Martha Stewart women from San Francisco was kicking it w/ me in the second half. No numbers were exchanged. That’s what soccer does. It brings people, human beings together.

The international game is always going ta have a 1 up on US soccer…Just like USA Basketball is always going ta have a 1 up in the international game but even then they are making a come up in that sport…I dont know what this US team is going to have to do but they got another 4 years ta figure it out..
