David Stern lit up a fatty when Boston came out of the Eastern Conference. There are matchups…& then there are MATCHUPS: Red Sox vs. Yanks, Ali vs. Frazier, Borg vs. McEnroe (tennis you….) that transcend sports (OK a little dramatic but you get the point) & Lakers vs. Celtics is one of those marquee matchups. You wonder why Ron Attest took less money? You wonder why Boston picked up Rasheed Wallace & Marquis Daniels? It is because on this moment. It’s the RING.

KG will play the race card in his own mind to push himself to beyond animal instincts. “No way is that white boy gonna outplay me. NEVER”. Perkins will punk Bynum. Andrew might get some in the first game but Mr. Technical will lay those 280 pounds on Mr. Softie & suddenly the knee will be hurting real bad. Game time decision.
Now the pendulum swings to LA. Ron Attest has been playing his roll to the max. He’ll take out the garbage if Phil tells him. He’ll give the Lakers much need toughness. He is no Maurice Lucas (enforcer for Bill Walton’s TrailBlazers teams) but he is tough. Kobe is hungry. Lose this & 2-3 years might blow by. He will have a bunker mentality.
It’s about matchups. It’s about team Defense. Can Dr. Phil win 11 Championships? That even sounds ridiculous. Factor in the Refs also. One more T for Perkins & he’ll miss a game due to suspension. Game 7 in LA is huge. Bench play has Tony Allen, Marquis Daniels, Big Baby vs. Adam Morrison, Luke Walton & DJ Mbenja. Bad move LA. I think that’s checkmate. Look for Boston to crack the underbelly of the Lake Show (Lamar “do you have enough tickets baby”Odom, Bynum, & to a degree, Pau Gasol. Boston in 6

I’m a little nervous with the prediction statisically you’ve got to get one sooner or later. I just hope te kiss of death continues on.
This series is going to be mssive. The hate for LA is so strong it’s got cats rooting for Boston.
Match ups are crazy. Rondos the swing vote IMO. I know phils got a plan for him.

This is the last team LA wanted to come out of the east…. if KG can provide great d on Gasol the same way he did on rashard lewis, its checkmate forreal.
