Sports Sounds Off: Can I have Some Heart???
The Dallas Mavericks went to the Wizard of OZ & requested some Heart. (They were told the Tin Man got the last one).They beat down the Lakers last week. They played w/ high energy & great bench play. Jason Kidd actually hit some outside shots. I got all geeked up! I said “Boy the Mavs could do this”. Then I came to my senses.

The Mavs have a squad. The addition of Brandon Haywood & Caron Butler (from the Wizards) gives them more options & size. The Nuggets could have used Haywood too because in the West, you need length to compete w/ the Lake Show. Kidd, Jason Terry, Dirk, crazy ass Stevenson (Lebron stopper, tat on his face), they got the players, but they got to get some heart. I’m gonna rip your face off. I’m gonna smack your Momma. I’m gonna talk shit to your girl while you’re there kind of heart.
The NBA is heating up. Suckers that are paying attention to Spring Training better get a life. The realness of basketball at the highest level is about to start.

I watched the whole Lakers Nuggets game this weekend.
One word… Battle.

I admit they look legit on paper and the way they’ve been playing
They always fold up in the playoffs though.
i dont see much changing.
