Sports Sound Off: Ohio Finest – Jared Sullinger
Jared, a senior forward at Northland High, scored 32pts, including two free throws w/ :04 left, to lead the Vikings to a 53-52 win that ended then national No. 1 Findlay Prep’s 45 game winning streak. He also had 17 rebounds and two blocks.
At week’s end Jared was averaging 21.6 & 14 rebounds.
As a junior, he was Ohio’s Mr. Basketball

Saw the boy’s get busy on Friday in Columbus. They are the Truth/The Real Deal. Sullinger is everything that is said about him and then some, but the rest of the team balanced the attack on both ends of the floor. I never ever never seen such a performance by a high school squad. They were tight, disciplined, and well coached. This is high school basketball at it’s finest.
