PROPS Review: Avatar

Go See IT!

Preferably in 3D. This movie doesn’t break any new uncharted terriorty in the story line department. You have love of family, life’s difficult choices, war, relationships, fighting foreign intruders, jealously, and greed. Avatar is emotional; don’t get me wrong, just not in the “I never even thought of that” kind of way such as the Sixth Sense, the Matrix or Apocalypto.

It doesn’t have the overwhelming screen play/word play of a Juno or Charlie Wilson’s War but like a boxer with a devastating punch or a tennis player w/ a killer serve, Avatar overwhelms your senses…totally. The technical break through of visual affects sets the bar. You will not take your eyes off the screen. Forget the Past…that’s so 2009.

As I sat watching this orgy of color, I thought that we have the same beauty in our Earth right before us, but we as a people go to the movies to see how wonderful other places are. As I sat watching, I wondered who could ever believe in war. It must be getting the power because it is senseless & sad to destroy a culture, any culture. It is a sick world we live in. The falling of a structure in Avatar is 9/11 driven (at least that’s what I thought). Don’t get a bootleg or wait for Blue Ray (u don’t got B/R? still watching DVD’s) Go See It!

u’ve seen it too,, GREAT MOVIE.
3d took it to another level for sure. The colors, graphics and everything rivals a video game thats coming out in 2015.

btw i thought it was kind of Native American Trail of Tears driven… but thats just me

    Absolutely..

It’s heartfelt that animals would put Small Pox in blankets than give them to the Indian culture than call themselves the righteous.
    History no longer a mystery.
