Sports Sound Off: Draft Bust Alert!
As the new NBA season approaches, there are many players that must use this year to prove to me (and other NBA fans) they deserve to be in the L. Basically, heres some players that are a season away from becoming straight busts and going on in HNITH’s doghouse.
HNITH
Brandon Wright 8th in 07(North Carolina) – This kid is Straight trash and frail body. Should’ve stayed at UNC to hit the weights and just polish his game.
Sebastian Telfair 13th in 04(Lincoln HS) – Easily one of the most overhyped players in my years of living. He had his own movie, and was on the first SLAM mag I ever got with Lebron. Stop over hyping New York guards media with that “BK toughness”.
Rashad McCants 14th in 05(North Carolina) – I thought McCants had the most game of everyone on the title squad. Lack of work ethic has made him a less than average league player.
Marvin Williams 2nd in 05(North Carolina) – Hawks have had the hole at the point for the longest. Doesn’t help the cause when you pick a 6th man in college over CP3 and DWill.
Corey Brewer 7th in 07(Florida) – I always thought Brewer would have the best NBA career out of the Gator crew, and boy was I wrong. Maybe it was the 3x T that hid his skinny frame made me believe he could really compete.
Yi Jinlian 6th in 07(China) – This kid has no chance, and is already in the doghouse because he’s a Net. He plays straight shook.
Danilo Galinari 6th in 08(Italy) – Also apart of the ‘shook ones’ crew of ballers. Should have grabbed Gordon or Lee, or even Brook Lopez.
Andrew Bogut 1st in 05 (Utah) – Never pick a prospect outta Utah for the 1st pick(especially with a name like Bogut). Should’ve grabbed Bynum great pick by Lakers.
Adam Morrison 3rd in 06(Gonzaga) – He was straight killing cats in college. Blame the weak conference and high school 3 point line for that one.
Andrea Bargnani 1st in 06(Italy) – thank the Raptors, because they made Portland one of the most dangerous teams in the L by missing out on BRoy and Aldridge.

JJ Reddick, Shelden Williams, Shaun Livingston, Joe Alexander, Shaun May, Mike Conley, Acie Law, Martell Webster…
Sam Bowie = Biggest draft bust of all time.

I would push Marvin Williams to the top of the list without a doubt. Due to the fact that, CP3 and D Williams have turned out to be legit stars in the NBA, unlike M. Williams. Dude is super weak!!!

I don’t think Shaun Livingston should be on this list… It wasn’t his fault his knee blew out from under him on a freak accident.

Oh there not in any particular order my bad.. Darko, Kwame, and E. Curry would be at the top wit Sam Bowie if it was…
