WTF?: Are Drug Dealers in a Recession?
I’m on the outside looking in and was just thinking with the economy looking the way it is are drug dealers feeling the effects of the recession? How hard would it be to poll and drug cartel? (Yes freakonomics)
Nino Brown schooled us on how when people are hurting the more they look to self medicate, which would leave one to believe that the D-Boys are doing okay.
Fiends will be fiends, but the Average Joe has alot less extra cash sitting around to indulge in “extra curricular activies”.
How much of an effect could this have on the market?
Tangent – I’d personally keep a close eye on Mexico. Cartels are taking over the country. It could hit the fan real quick if they started pumping cheap Meth into the US.
Cheap drugs coupled with the current economic situation could lead to a similar situation as the 80s crack epidemic. The large urban areas are still feeling the effects.
Recession+ Cheap Drugs = Crime wave.

A Look From the Inside
Drugs are a recession proof Multi Billion Dollar industry. Personally I notice normal people that dont use are becoming more likely to use during these time to medicate stress.

Did you see they are working to change the legislation where the Feds can come and shut down.
I forgot they guys name/title but he was calling for a big fall back of the feds going against state medical weed laws

The goverment is looking for ways to increase money for the system.Tax them like you would do any other item in a capitalistic society.
