Sports Sound Off: Lebron James on Steroids?

This might come off as random hate, but lets be all the way real.
Don’t get me wrong I’m 100% a fan. When poled “Who would I pay the most money to see play” I selected King James over Kobe (Home team) and a slew of other All-Stars not worth mentioning.
LJ is a specimen, but I’m calling foul… The King is too real.
PROPS!
The argument that basketball is more of a finese sport and athletes would not benefit from roids is silly to me. I’m no expert on ‘roids or the specific benefits, but I think people have the misconception that everyone on ‘roids is Lou Ferrigno’d up. Uber buff on some Schwarzenegger Classic steez. It’s almost like saying people can’t smoke weed and hoop. It sterotypically slows you down, makes you foget things and you can’t hoop under those circumstances ask Damon Stoudemire
The benefits are in the training and recovery. Run faster, jump higher, work out longer, recover faster. I’m sure no one in the NBA would benefit from that…
The NBA gets PROPS for keeping a wrap on everything and discrediting any suggestions unlike the MLB that seems hell bent on destroying there league internally. Throwing some of their biggest names to the wolves.
What’s the verdict?
NBA ‘Roid Suspects:
1) Lebron James
2) Dwight Howard
3) to be continued…

I doubt that lebron and Dwight are shooting needles in their ass like “shoot me coach shoot me i gotta run and jump faster… I have to jump out of the building” these guys been doing this since high school!!!!!. Of course they are taking supplements its 2009 everybody is BUT i doubt they are going overseas and picking up supplements that are banned from the United states. You gotta remember alot of these supplements were allowed in the MLB not even 10 years ago. Its just recent that they have started to crack down and bust people for it. These supplements are not like Cocaine where they are not allowed into the USA under any circumstances you can go to GNC and get this stuff. Yea it might not be all natural but these dudes are 15 20 years younger than the guys in baseball. These guys are in their Mid 20′s give them a break. If ne body in the league is doing steriods its Shaq and i Highly doubt it. Thats like saying “iverson has a mean cross over dribble he gotta be taking steriods to make his arms move faster”. I see basketball as a sport where you play it as you are.. Look at high school basketball if you have talent you have talent from little to big if your a skill player i believe you wouldnt have to take it. Also Its not like baseball where if you weigh 180 pounds u will throw a 90 mile hour fast ball for 8 innings nope ur wrong u have to be at least 250 260 muscle. Basketball is a more relaxed sport where u dont have to put alot of stress on one portion of your body. Look at pictures of lebron and howard from high school it will solve this nonsense…

Going in…
I’m not saying its as wide spread or that all the top players are using.
I’m calling out LJ.
They were mad small in the HS in comparison to how big they are now
Dude runs through teams and goes to the basket.
One move and o the basket.
To compare Iverson’s game to LJs game is apples and oranges.
Some dudes may need to take some ‘roids
Lets start a list of dudes that could benefit
Harder, faster, stronger…

I think you can throw ben wallace on that list too, I mean would anyone who follows the game be shocked lebron and dwight were on roids, These guy have been some of the strongest players in league from the moment they joined the league from high school they both rely on their physical gifts more than lets say kobe bryant, carmelo anthony, yao ming ,dirk nowitzki, what i mean is dwight has no real post moves he just dunks to score and over powers everyone else on the floor for rebounds nothing wrong with that.. same with lebron hes like karl malones build with michael jordans athleticism if he had kobes or carmelos offensive arsenal he could win the finals with players from angola on his side. did anyone notice how both lebron and dwight played alot worse through out the olympics things like that are fishy. could david stern purposly cover up steroid use in this league iwouldnt put it past him he sells this league for its “amazing” stars who dounbelievable things and we all know how he deals with cheating refrees rather how he dosent….on the other hand if you go from the 70′s to today every generation of players does seem to look bigger than the last….
