Sports Sound Off: Greg Oden – Grand Opening, Grand Closing!!!
At last, yes at last are the words that several Portland area fans were screaming last night as they watched their number one pick from a year ago Greg Oden finally take the court for the Blazers in there season opener vs Kobe and the Lakeshow.
“Well my friends”, as John Wayne McCain would say, it doesnt look so great! Midway through the first quarter of action Center Greg Oden was fouled in a scrum under the basket in which Oden came up a little lame and hobbled. He would return the bench shortly after with two fouls only to be seen again in street clothes in a post game press confereence. The injury has been tabbed as a sprained foot.
His void was felt immediately, as the Lakers cruised to 20 point pounding of the Blazers. Led by Kobe’s 23 points and 11 boards the Lakers look to be off to a great start. Lamar came off the bench to drop 9 points along with Ariza’s 15 to help pace the Lakers attack.
Though it is early the Lakers seemingly have the tools to make another great run at a Western Conference title. Keep it locked for the best coverage of shit you really give a fuck about!!!
GreezyFourThreeeeeeee!!!

Lakers looking strong.
the total package.

I dont get the MAx B thing. I’ve checked a few videos on the tube and it just seems like any other angry dude on the block. I might just be getting old…

Olden is close to being this generations’ Bill Walton. I mean the guy looked pityiful,no game and out of shape.
He was looking over at the bench to take him out. Did I say he looke slow..like Jerome James of the Knicks slow. Sabonis(portland back in the day) slow.
PS. KObe locked down Brandon Roy totally.
I think Kobe could check Mike Jordan(the sneaker guy).
MJ’s d was tight, but he didn’t have to contend with all the multi-talanted players of today.
I mean John Starks, Reggie Miller, they don’t even score on Kobe

Kobe’s D is a little overrated.
Thats coming from Lake show fanboy
I thinks its more of a mental things.
I guess it doesn’t matter if your holding someone under double digits
