Sports Sound Off: Weekend Sports Recap

Joe Paterno is the toast of Happy Valley Pa. after his Penn State Nittany Lions (what is a Nittany anyway??) defeated the Ohio St. Buckeyes. This second lost of the season puts the Bucks in a “wait till next year” role. They got a lot on Money in Columbus, but not that much for consideration for the BCS title game.

All hail the Titans (for now). They are the only undefeated team in the NFL. On Monday Night Football, they first held on, and then they step on the gas to CRUSH the Colts. The Colts went to getting their MOJO back to a free fall in about 5 minutes. Up 14-6 midway in the third, they were in control, but that’s why the game is 60 minutes.

Baseball is a joke at least on the East coast. Come on, you can’t finish a game at 1:48 AM. unless it’s some epic 20 inning marathon with all the drama you expect from a World Series game. Who’s watching?? Commissioner Bud Selig is over his head. Think of him as the Sarah Palin of Baseball.

Unbelievable as it seems, the NBA is starting this week. The Boston Celtics will hoist banner #17 to the rafters and have to forget about it quick. It’s a new year.

I have my scouts gathering info for this year of hoop heaven.

MVP, Rookie of the Year, Faces in New Places …All of your questions will be answered.

Just a bid-bit. I’m interested to see how former Ohio State Buckeye & last years’ # 1 pick Greg Olden is going to play. Will he make an impact?

His injury gave him an opportunity mentally to develop. Let’s see if it translated to the court.

P.S. Watch out for injury bug to hit those Redeem Team players who played competitively all summer.

The last 3 innings of game six was the most exciting baseball i seen all year.ahahahah. The titans arent that good. yea there undfted but look who they have beaten in their run KC,Cin, Hou, Min, and tha dont play to there expectation jags. i compare them to the 13-3 baltimore ravens of 07′ had a great year but choked on hard meat in the playoffs. NH. They just dont seem that good 2 me. idk..This is by far the most wonderful time of the year… Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, NFL, NBA. I can smell the turkey already. owwwwwwwwwwwww.
