Sports Sound Off – WTF !!! Ron Artest to Houston…
Holy, fucking shit… Are you kidding me, are we sleep at the wheel, what, are you fucking stupid?! Those were my personal feelings this morning, after being awakened by the thunderous sounds of Wu-Tang’s “Method Man” from my stereo I peered toward the TV (Can’t sleep without the TV on) to see the unthinkable!!!
At first it was just a picture of Artest on the screen, “I’m thinking one of two things has jumped off here”. I was first thinking “Oh shit, we (Lakers) are gonna pull the trigger on Lamar O for Artest”, a much needed move it my thoughts for the Lake show. Or Artest has had another run in with the law, or he has new album release party set for the tip of the NBA season and has asked for time off until after the All-Star break!!! (LOL) But I’m all I’m hearing is “I fuckin, I fuckin tie your Asshole shut and keep…”
I grab the remote un-mute the TV and turn off the always motivating “Hey, You get off my cloud” blaring out the speakers, to hear Ron Artest has found a new home. “I’m thinking we made the deal!!!!, we gonna get QB finest in the city of angels, (Daydreaming… Kobe goes for 70pts and Artest holds other teams star to 2pts) then… (It was as if time froze)… then I hear “Ron Artest is on the move too…
Then ESPN inserts the Rockets logo next to Artest photo. All damn! (See opening sentence) Cut the TV off and sat back down and pondered my thoughts. Were would I channel my anger!
My first thought was “That Mitch Kupchak has dropped the ball again”.
How could we allow the difference in a championship, go off the shelf for Bobby Jackson and future First-Round pick? Bobby “Flipping” Jackson?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Total hate filled my Lungs and Heart….. “This is fuckin bullshit”. Which led to my 7am tirade. WTF!
How can we challenge for the title again without trying to tweak the line a little bit and adding a rugged defender who manages to fill the basket with at least 20ppg, even if they are garbageman points. That’s 20ppg at least 7rpg, and on top of that he’s locking up your opponents best player, and allowing Kobe to rest, which in turn makes him fresh throughout the game. But, no!!!
Mitch Kupchak failed to put the car in drive, during rush hour! Wow… How could this be. I know NBA fan I may sound like an over zellous superfan but this my friend is unreal!!! We could have moved someone to make way for Artest!!!
This day is doomed already!!!! Let me know how you feel P heads? Am I messed up? Should the Lakers have former GM Jerry West (currently unemployed GM who lead the lakers to three titles and lead the kidnapping of Pau Gasol from Memphis to LA) on a short list of one to replace Kupchak?

The irony to this is that the first round draft pick (Donte Greene) was the Lakers first round draft pick that they traded to Memphis for Pau Gasol.

I’m happy the Lakers didn’t trade Odom. I want to give him another along with KB, Gasol, and above all a healthy Bynum. I think they can click!

It would have been dope to snatch up Artest, but it’s mos def not that big of a deal yet.

You Damn right I’m still upset!!!! We dropped the ball on this one. Come All-Star break when Lamar is still trying to figure out who he is let’s archive this page!!!! I’m telling yall. Artest is a goon, don’t get me wrong, but he’s worth the risk. Plus all them dirty shot’s Kobe was taking from opposing Defenses(Boston straight bullied us) will subside due to the goon factor of Artest. If your Artest teammate and you’ve taken a few a cheap shot’s in the wheelhouse, guess who’s coming??? Ron Ron with the extra physical play and the inability to be raddled by other teams players or home court advantage. Come on he’s from QB SON!!!! Lamar just gives us Long arm lay up’s, and show’s the toughness of a Kotex a large portion of the time.

The lakers need more than a healthy bynum.. Lamar scrotum is a bum he had a couple good months with the lakers and everybody is excited about this guy. They should go after mutumbo. A 43 african work horse that will put a body on a n***a.

Yo man you better get some therapy for that “can’t sleep w/o the TV on. That’s scary. WHAT IF(here we go again) Stacey Dash(one of my alltime favs) wants you over for some Jungle Love and after the deed is done you reach for the remote to turn on the idiot box? she starts beefing about how she needs total darkest to sleep.I would throw the TV out the window. maybe not if it was a plasma or LCD. but you get the drift…
