i remember watching this on TV and wheeping with joy and sorrow – that this man had been in jail for 27 years
it still makes me want to cry.
i recorded it [VCR]
it took hrs for him to walk out of the gates …i beleive there was some attempt to kidnap him or some strange thing
something was going on in the prison?
i think i saw a documentary that went through the last 24 hrs time line of events?
do you know anything about this?
18 yrs has flown by and he is looking frail now and his voice is that of an old man – mind you he is 90!

This is a man who brings great emotion to me
I have his name in my garage(along w. MLK & Margaret Sanger)
This are Giants in humanity
I think when Mandela has a meeting w/ the Pope or Bill Gates or whomever..it’s the Other person..giving the Props to Mandela.
Certain things get my emotions going and Mandela even though he is just a Man is one of them.
