The Adventures of… PROPS – Iron Man
They had a few games for prizes set up. Crazy what people will do for free stuff
Some 93.5 DJ playing some joints in the theater.
Not too much of an Iron Man fanboy. So I can’t really talk about how the good the movie was in relation to the comic book.
Marvel kept this one in house as far as production so everything should be good to go.
GTA IV
GTA IV is finally here…
I’m going to try and grab it today without having reserved it.
We’ll see how that works out for me.
We all know how nice Gamestop and EB Games employees are on release days (snark)

Coachella 08 – Sunday – Recap
“Lebron James of the Rap Game”

If all these Playoff match ups aren’t enough.
We’ve got Jay Z jumping in on the action.
Bron and DeShawn Stevenson had a little back and forth.
Stevenson calls Lebron “Over rated”
Lebron says responding to Stevenson “would be like Jay-Z saying something bad about Soulja Boy.”
Stevenson invites Soulja Boy to game three and takes the win
Now with the Cavs looking to closeout at home on Wednesday and Lebron averaging almost 30 points against the Wizards DeShawn Stevenson pretty much needs to dig a hole somewhere.
To add insult to injury Jay takes a couple “shots” at Stevenson over Blow the Whistle
Jay Z – Blow The Whistle (Dirty)
DeShawn taking mad L’s.

Muxtape Mondays
Man I remember slaving over my duel recording tape deck trying to make the perfect tape for that special someone.
Intro’s, Interlude’s, Outro’s… all of that. Paying special attention to tempo and the vibe I was attempting to convey. Must have had some impact…
Now putting together a “tape” is easier than ever.
Drag, Drop, Burn
I’m going to make this a weekly thing. Hopefully introduce you to some new artist and just share some joints that are in heavy rotation.

Sports Sound Off: “Don’t come in the ring or you might get knocked out”
We are going to do this to the best of our limited abilities. No cutting & pasting.
All original please. Don’t come in the ring or you might get knocked out.
Throw it down Big Man.
Let’s begin w/ an MJ comment. I know to all you “lil G’s” he was the Greatest, but really did they change any rules for this dude? His grateness(that’s not a typo) was King of the MEdia. (get it (ME). Espn and all that coverage.

The dunk contest win was suspect over D. Wilkins if you ask me. He won 6 rings but did he “Change the Game?? Dude does make one hell of a sneaker though…

The Rasterbator!
Anytime I mention this to friends I get funny looks. I guess it does sound a little suspect, but it’s a cool way to add a little “Art” action to your room.

Designer Gas masks by Diddo Velema

We are in a state of perpetual war – with ourselves and with the eco-system that sustains us. Perpetual war breeds perpetual fear. In the present context, this fear stems from our extreme desire for authenticity and manifests itself in our collectively insatiable culture of consumption.
Deep down, we are afraid we may never be satisfied. An expanding archive of branded myths and icons feeds this fear. Designer Gas Masks is an attempt to visualize this state of mind. Because it is only by first acknowledging and then challenging fear that we will all be able to breathe a little easier.
Designer Gas Masks is a conceptual art project. The masks are not real commercial products. They’re made for gallery purposes only.
Glow in the Dark!
Show was crazy.
Kind of amazing/rare that something with so much hype lives up to and exceeds expectations
Bottom line Glow in the Dark delivered.
Do what you have to see this show. You’ll kick yourself later if you missed.
Pictures swiped from a friend of a friend that sat one row in front of us (Thanks!). Our cameras got snatched at the door.

Lets Try This Again
The last attempt never really got rolling.
We’ll give it another shot
Stay tuned…
